This Privacy Policy describes how OUP TV ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and safeguards your personal data across our digital ecosystem, including ouptv.ru, www.ouptv.ru, m.ouptv.ru, desktop.ouptv.ru, and passport.ouptv.ru.
OUP TV operates as the data controller for the processing activities described herein. For any inquiries regarding your data protection rights, please contact our Data Protection Liaison at:
Email: ouptv.gma@proton.me
In accordance with Article 6 of the GDPR, we process your data based on:
Contractual Necessity: To provide access to streaming services via your Provider's Registration Code (PRC).
Legitimate Interests: To optimize our website delivery (redirecting between mobile and desktop versions) and ensure the security of our platform.
OUP TV adheres to the principle of Data Minimization. We do not maintain a direct user registration system; instead, we facilitate access via third-party authentication.
Authentication Data (passport.ouptv.ru): To access our services, you must provide a PRC (Provider’s Registration Code) and a corresponding password provided by your service provider. OUP TV acts as an intermediary; we do not create independent user profiles but verify the credentials provided by your third-party provider.
Third-Party SSO (Single Sign-On): If you choose to authenticate via Yoo ID or GlobalMedia Press Card / ID, we receive a unique technical identifier to authorize your session. We do not process or store your external account passwords.
Device and Technical Data: Our system automatically detects your device type (mobile vs. desktop) to ensure you are directed to the correct sub-domain for an optimal viewing experience.
Our service utilizes embedded technologies from third-party media platforms. When you interact with these elements, the respective providers may collect technical data (e.g., IP address, cookies) as independent controllers:
Google (Google Sites & YouTube)
VK Video
RuTube
OK Live
We utilize HTTPS encryption for all data transmissions to protect against unauthorized access.
As OUP TV utilizes global infrastructure (such as Google Sites), your data may be processed in countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA). We rely on standard contractual clauses and the high security standards of our infrastructure providers to ensure your data remains protected.
As a data subject in the EU, you have the following rights:
Right of Access: To request a copy of the data we process.
Right to Rectification: To correct inaccurate data.
Right to Erasure (“Right to be Forgotten”): To request the deletion of your access logs or PRC-related session data.
Right to Lodge a Complaint: You have the right to contact a Data Protection Authority (DPA) if you believe your data is being handled improperly.
We retain technical session data and PRC authentication logs only for as long as necessary to provide the streaming service or as required by technical audit logs.
We reserve the right to update this policy to reflect changes in our services or legal obligations. Users are encouraged to review this page periodically.
